“Mr. Brooklyn” received a warm borough welcome on block party day when he stopped by East 58th Street for a bite to eat and a smile to share with residents of East 58th Street.
Borough President Marty Markowitz was lavished with food and friendship by happy homeowners of the stretch between Avenues N and O, where the beep saw his constituents hard at play.
Youngsters also had the opportunity to see how a rescue unit worked when the Flatlands Volunteer Ambulance Corps arrived in their life-saving truck.
