Call it raising the bar.

Borough legal eagles rubbed elbows and toasted the success of The Brooklyn Bar Association’s newest officers and trustees at the group’s Annual Meeting, Awards and Elections this month.

The evening of legal liveliness, held at the Association’s meeting hall on Remsen Street Downtown, saw several worthy candidates elected to new posts and many deserving jurists and Bar Association staffers receive awards on May 8.

The new officers, who will be officially inducted during a ceremony at Brooklyn Law School’s Feil Hall next month, include: Hon. Frank V. Carone, president; Anthony J. Lamberti, president-elect; Armena D. Gayle, first vice president; Richard Klass, second vice president; Joseph Rosato, secretary; and Anthony Vaughn, Jr., treasurer.

The borough Bar Association’s Trustees Class of 2022 includes: Maria Aragona, Martin Edelman, Adam Kalish, Gregory LaSpina, Angélicque Moreno, Scott Rynecki, and Pauline Yeung.
