So much for that blizzard.

The first major winter storm of 2015 was predicted to bring two-to-three-feet of snow by this evening, but it has now been downgraded to eight-to-12 inches. Governor-imposed travel bans have been lifted and public transit is creaking back to life.

Mayor DeBlasio, possibly making up for his widely panned performance last year during his first big snow storm as mayor that saw large swaths of the city go unplowed, started announcing the city’s preparedness measures on Sunday night. By Monday afternoon he announced that public schools will be closed today and that city roads would be off-limits after 11 pm. Drivers are now once again allowed on Brooklyn streets, but community meetings and events all over the borough remain canceled.

Here are a few of the cancellations and closings in effect:

• Public schools are closed today.

• Subways are returning to Sunday service levels by noon.

• All Brooklyn Public Library branches are closed Tuesday.

• Alternate-side parking is suspended through Wednesday.

• Garbage and recycling pick-ups will not take place until snow clearing is complete.

• Community Board 13’s general meeting, scheduled for Wednesday, is cancelled.

• Opening events scheduled at the Kings Theatre tonight are postponed.
