A Brooklyn Heights smoke shop was robbed of over $600 worth of cannabis products by two men late last month.

The worker at The Exotic Smoke Shop on Henry Street near Orange Street told cops that the two suspects entered the store after midday on Feb. 26 and told him to “get the f–k out of here.” Fearing for his safety, the staff member locked himself in the store’s storage room while the thieves worked in unison to fill their loot bag.

The suspects stole $670 worth of assorted cannabis products before fleeing south bound on Henry Street. The shook-up worker later joined officers to patrol the area but the search yielded negative results.

Reported robberies are up a staggering 193% year-to-date in Brooklyn Heights’ 84th Precinct, according to Police Department data. As of March 3, when the most recent data is available, there were 41 reported robberies so far this year — up from just 14 during the same time in 2023.

This isn’t the first time the unlicensed weed shop was robbed. The business has also racked up a number of complaints, violations and fines since opening.

As of March 11, cops were still seeking the suspects behind the most recent robbery.
