A southern Brooklyn woman suffered chemical burns on Sunday after, cops say, a perpetrator poured an unknown substance on the unsuspecting victim.

Authorities say there was no interaction between the two prior to the assault, when the man approached the victim near 64th Street and Ninth Avenue, on the border of Sunset Park and Dyker Heights, at around 10:53 pm and doused her with the liquid.

The suspect fled on foot towards 64th Street while the 39-year-old victim was taken to Maimonides Medical Center in stable condition. She was treated for chemical burns to her face, neck, shoulders, and back.

Police say the suspect was wearing a mask over his face, gloves, a black hooded sweater, light colored sweatpants and light colored sneakers.
