Scummy old chum
A brute robbed an old friend he was reconnecting with on Cropsey Avenue on May 8.
The victim told police that he was meeting an old friend at his apartment near Bay 47th Street at 11 pm. But when the man let his old buddy into his apartment, he was greeted with, “What would you do if I went through your pockets?” according to a police report. The scheming baddie then grabbed his former friend by the shirt and shoved him against the wall, officials said.
Another man entered the apartment and the ruffians rummaged through the man’s pockets before fleeing the scene with cash and clothes, authorities said.
Ambushed
Three goons followed a man on Neptune Avenue on May 11, cornering him and demanding cash.
The man told police that he noticed two men and a woman following him between Bay Parkway and W. Fifth Street at 3 am. The trio then cut him off and one of the men brandished a knife, shouting, “Give me your money,” according to a police report.
A struggle ensued between the pair and the thieves ran off empty-handed, said police.
Gunpoint
A trio of toughs robbed a man at gunpoint on W. 33rd Street on May 12.
The victim told police he was walking between Coney Island Creek and Neptune Avenue at 11 am when he was surrounded by three rogues. One man pressed a gun into the victim’s back demanding he freeze as his accomplices stripped him of his gold necklace, bracelet, rings, and cellphone, according to a police report.
The men fled toward Neptune Avenue, authorities said.
Cabless cabbie
A thief drove off with a taxi driver’s car that was parked at the intersection of Shore Parkway and West Street on May 13.
The man parked his Toyota Camry at 9 pm, and when he returned at 8 am the next day the car was gone, according to a police report.
No broken glass was discovered on the scene, police noted.
