Bizarre demands
A thug assaulted and attempted to rob a man on Avenue L on Feb. 27.
The victim told police that he was near Ralph Avenue at around 5:20 pm when the brute approached him and punched him in the face. “Run your shoes,” he barked, a bizarre statement which the victim took as a demand for his footwear, but refused, so the thug fled.
Key stolen
A goon robbed a woman on Avenue L on March 2, taking her keys.
The victim told police that she was near Flatbush Avenue at around midnight when the crook appeared and punched her in the face, injuring her upper lip. The thief took the keys to victim’s house and car before fleeing.
Pipe looter
Cops arrested a man, who they say is a suspect in the assault and robbery of a 64-year-old man, at his E. 73rd Street home on March 2.
The victim told police that the man entered his backyard between Avenues K and L at 11:12 am, where he began removing lead pipes, before attacking the victim with a broom handle.
Home invaded
A crook robbed a man inside his E. 58th Street home on March 3, taking his cellphone and cash.
The victim told police that he was inside his house between Avenues K and L at 7 am, when the intruder threw him to the floor and took $630 and his phone before fleeing.
Stripped
Two thugs robbed a man on Fillmore Avenue on March 3, taking clothes.
The victim told police that he was near E. 56th Street at 11:30 pm when the duo approached him and punched him in the face multiple times. The ruffians then took the victim’s clothing and fled.
Bricks and frames
A brute assaulted a man inside his Fillmore Avenue home on Feb. 26.
The victim told police that he was inside his house near E. 56th Street at 1 pm when the thug chucked a brick through his window. The evildoer then entered the victim’s house and beat him over the head with a picture frame before fleeing.
Have a drink
Two thugs assaulted a woman inside a Ralph Avenue restaurant with a glass bottle on Feb. 29.
The victim told police she was engaged in an argument with the two inside the eatery near Gleenwood Road at 2 am when one of them threw a bottle, which struck her right hand. The jerks were last seen fleeing in a black Cadillac, while the victim was taken to Kings County Hospital.
Morning withdrawal
A thief robbed an E. 69th Street house on Feb. 19, taking cash, electronics, and jewelry.
The victim told police that the intruder entered the residence between Avenues M and N sometime after 3:30 am through the front door. The crook made off with $2,000, and various jewelry and electronics.
Brazen burglar
Someone broke into an E. 37th Street home on March 2, taking cash and jewelry.
The crook entered the home between Avenues I and J sometime after 8:40 am, taking $45 and various jewelry, cops said.
Jewel thief
A thief nabbed jewelry from an E. 55th Street house on March 4.
Police said the robber entered the house between Avenues K and L through a basement window at 11 am, taking various jewelry.
Arranged thievery
A crook robbed a woman on Farragut Road on Feb. 28.
The victim told police that she had arranged to buy an iPhone from the swindler near Ralph Avenue at 9 pm. When she met the thief, he grabbed $250 from the victim’s hand and took off.
Must have been lost
A thief pilfered a woman’s car on Glendale Court on March 3.
The victim told police that she had parked her car near E. 45th Street at around 8:30 pm, and returned later to find her navigation system and radio missing.
