Unwelcomed guest
A cur broke into a guy’s house on E. 12th Street and stole his electronics and jewelry on Feb. 25, police said.
The victim told police the jerk entered the home near Avenue R through the front door sometime between 8:45 pm and 11:30 pm and grabbed his Apple MacBook laptop, Raymond Weil silver watch with diamonds, diamond earrings, a silver watch, and a diamond heart ring with gold, officials said.
The tenant on the third floor did not hear or see anything, police said. The victim told police he had just moved into his house two weeks ago and hadn’t yet changed the door code from the prior tenant.
Knocked out
A knave struck a woman in the head as she was walking home near E. 12th Street on Feb. 20 and stole her purse, police said.
The 45-year-old woman told police she was near Avenue W at about 7:30 pm when the criminal hit her in the back of her head with an unknown object, causing pain and a cut that required stitches.
The cad grabbed her bag, and when she tried to fight back, the malefactor struck her in the head again, police said. The lout ran off with her pocketbook containing her five credit cards inside, according to authorities.
Mysterious marauder
A ski mask-wearing rogue dressed all in black — but sporting red sneakers — threatened a teen to fork over money on Voorhies Avenue on Feb. 20, police said.
The teen told police he was walking near E. 23rd Street at about 7 pm when the miscreant pushed an unknown object into his side and said “Keep walking, give me money.”
But when the teen told him he had no money, the villain said “Give me something expensive,” and so the teen handed him his iPhone, according to authorities. The jerk then slapped his face across his nose and fled, officials said.
