Bensonhurst—Bath Beach

Partner turned rival

Two goons busted into a 62nd Street restaurant on Dec. 27 and made off with a delivery bike, authorities said.

The owner of the greasy spoon between 15th and 16th avenues claims the robbery was an act of sabotage committed by a former business partner. The owner said she is currently in a civil dispute with the former partner and believes he is behind the robbery, a police report said.

The woman provided police with security camera footage of the bike rustlers cutting the lock on the eatery’s gate at 2 am, said police.

She told police she has tried to resolve the dispute through rabbinical court and does not want to press charges for the bike theft, but does want to prosecute for the break in, officials said.

Opportunistic thief

A thief plucked jewels from a woman’s jewelry box during an open house on 66th Street on Dec. 26, officials said.

The woman told police that she is in the process of selling her house between 19th and 20th avenues and that numerous people have visited her home during recent open houses.

The thief swiped $1,000 worth of bling, according to authorities.

Knife to meet you

A baddie and his accomplices robed a man at knifepoint on 18th Avenue on Dec. 31, said police.

The victim told police that the punk approached him between 86th Street and Benson Avenue around 4:40 pm, authorities said.

The miscreant displayed a knife and told the man, “Walk to that corner.” The man walked to the corner of Bay 17th Street and Benson Avenue where another man approchdd him, searched his pockets, and swiped his wallet, according to a police report. The victim noticed a third man acting as lookout, said police.
