Start the holiday season with one of Scandinavia’s most cherished rituals %u2013 Santa Lucia.The Scandinavian East Coast Museum’s welcomes all to its annual Lucia Fest at Salem Lutheran Church, 450 %u2013 67th Street, in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn on December 4th at 7 p.m.
The event includes the Lucia Pageant, Scandinavian refreshments, caroling and raffles.The Lucia is being performed by Barneklubbben Elsa Rix #1.Music performed at the reception provided by Elin Lindstrom.
The pageant is held in Salem Church’s sanctuary.Unfortunately, the congregation is closing in early January, so this is the last year that the event will be hosted there.
