Peace talks
A half-hearted miscreant tried to mug a guy at gunpoint on Jackson Street on Nov. 18, but ultimately the silver-tongued victim talked his way out of it and the two parted ways peacefully.
The victim told cops was between Leonard and Lorimer streets at 7:10 pm when the would-be thief came up behind him, pointed a gun at his head, and said “Give me everything you got.”
But the victim refused, then proceeded to somehow convince the lout to leave him alone, authorities said. The perp walked away down Leonard Street towards Skillman Avenue, according to a police report.
Bathroom break-in
A punk clambered in through the bathroom window of a Freeman Street apartment on Nov. 21 and ran off with an estimated $44,000 worth of electronics.
The victim told cops he left his apartment between Franklin Street and Manhattan Avenue at 8 pm and came back at 4:53 am the next day to find his bathroom window was open and the lock was broken.
He looked around and found the low-life had snagged a haul of his electronics goods, including a laptop, a Playstation, and a projector, according to a police report.
Shower scene
Cops cuffed a guy who climbed into a woman’s Kent Avenue apartment while she was in the shower on Nov. 16.
The victim was taking a shower in her pad between N. Sixth and N. Seventh streets at 1 pm when she heard the doorbell ring and ignored it, but when she finished showering she heard a noise in another room and went to check it out, authorities said.
She followed the sound and found the alleged intruder clambering through her window and started yelling at him, cops said. The guy fled down the fire escape but officers ultimately collared him for the alleged crime, according to a police report.
