It was an autumnal oldie but a goodie!

The kids of Coney Island flocked to Kaiser Park on Saturday for the annual Fall Festival, which featured loads of activities for the kiddies, including face painting, bouncy houses, and pumpkin picking. The free event was a big hit with the youngsters, according to one mom who said her daughter had a blast.

“It was really beautiful, everybody had a good time,” said Candice Freeman, who brought her daughter, Nylah, to the event. “The kids really enjoyed it.”

And the nabe’s bike riders could also get free helmets custom fitted in order to stay safe while careening through the Coney streets.

The annual event was sponsored by Councilman Mark Treyger (D–Coney Island)

“The Fall Festival is one of my favorite events, and I know local residents feel the same way,” Treyger said. “I am proud to present this fun-filled day of family friendly activities for our working families. I’m also proud that we distributed more than 630 bike helmets this year. I thank all the residents who joined us and made this event a big success.”
