Police are looking for the man they believe ripped the purse from an elderly woman’s shoulder on Bay 46th Street on Aug. 29.
The 80-year-old victim was walking on the mostly residential street between Harway and Bath avenues at 7:40 am when the thief came running up behind her and snatched the purse, police said. The woman reported minor injuries.
