Smoked ’em

Cops picked up two men who they say stuck a woman up for a pack of cigarettes on 76th Street on March 29.

The victim told police the accused came up to her near Fourth Avenue at 3:25 am — one from in front, the other behind. The first allegedly flashed a firearm and demanded cash. But all the woman had to give was a box of cancer sticks, cops said.

The two suspects allegedly swiped the smokes and scrammed — but cops collared them moments later.

Shopping spree

A burglar busted into a 67th Street grocery store on March 24 and made off with $84,000 in cash, police reported.

Security cameras recorded the bandit breaking into the side-gate near Fort Hamilton Parkway at 1 am, smashing open the safe, and stealing the dough, according to authorities.

Knock, knock

A lowlife kicked open the front door of a 72nd Street home on March 24 and pillaged the premises, according to cops.

The victim said he left his home near Ridge Boulevard at 11:30 am and returned later to discover his entryway busted open and his cash, laptop, and cellphone missing.

Escape artist

A thief swung into a window near the fire escape of a 65th Street building on March 27 and looted an apartment, authorities said.

The victim told cops he left his home near 11th Avenue at 11 am, without locking the window, and came back later to find the portal open and his cash, jewelry, and credit cards stolen.

Back to the base

A crook broke into the basement of a 97th Street house on March 27 and raided the rooms above, police stated.

The homeowner reported leaving the abode near Ridge Boulevard at 8:30 in the morning and returning hours afterward to find the cellar door ajar and his jewelry and laptop gone.
