Nip, duck!
An angry hospital worker beat up a colleague on Sixth Street on May 27, cops say.
The 48-year-old victim told cops he was discussing haircuts with a fellow X-ray technician at New York Methodist Hospital near Seventh Avenue at 6:30 pm when a third employee overheard, got offended, and shoved him into a chair. The crazed worker then choked him, leaving scratches on his neck, cops said.
The poor technician was then rushed to the emergency room which, naturally, wasn’t too far away.
Swiped card
A scoundrel stole a credit card from a neighbor on Union Street between May 25 and May 29 — and then charged $1,925 to it.
The victim told cops he discovered someone had snatched a credit card from his apartment near Eighth Avenue, then racked up more than a thousand dollars on it.
Bicycle getaway
Cops say a bike-riding thief and an accomplice stole a man’s cellphone on Fifth Avenue on May 30.
The 37-year-old victim told police he was near St. Johns Place at 5:25 pm when a crook grabbed his black iPhone and handed it to a partner on a bike, who then peddled away with the fancy gadget.
Cops arrested one of the suspects, an 18-year-old male, the same day.
Bad checkout
A jerk swiped a wallet from shopper on Ninth Street on May 28 — and then went on a shopping spree with one of her cards.
The 54-year-old victim told cops she set her wallet — full of credit cards and a Virginia nursing license — on a counter at C-Town Supermarket near Fifth Avenue at 4:30 pm, then accidentally left it there.
She realized it was gone three hours later and retuned to the shop, but it was nowhere in sight. She later learned that someone charged $137 to one of her cards.
Van scam
A crook stole some electronic goodies from a van parked on Eighth Avenue on May 31.
The 53-year-old victim told cops she parked her gray 2000 Ford van near St. Johns Place at 1:20 pm.
When she came back four hours later, a lock on the door was busted — and her DVD player, laptop, and navigation system were missing.
