Police arrested a 36-year-old man who they say attacked another man on Gerritsen Avenue on June 17.

The victim told police that he was arguing with the man between Florence and Everett avenues at 12:45 pm when the jerk punched him in the neck.

Sweatpants snatch

A 55-year-old man was arrested for stealing clothes from an Avenue U 99-cent store on June 13.

Several employees told police that they were working inside the retail store between E. 18th and E. 19th streets at 7:14 pm when the suspect snagged various items — including sweatpants — before attempting to flee without paying.

Knife to meet you

A 20-year-old man threatened a man at knifepoint on E. 12th Street on June 9 and took his cellphone, said police.

The victim told police that he was between Avenue P and Quentin Road at 9:30 pm when knife-toting man threatened him with the blade and took his phone.

“If you follow me, I will kill you,” he allegedly snarled before fleeing.

Caned and able

Cops arrested a 17-year-old boy who they say assaulted and robbed a man on Avenue Y on June 15.

The victim told police that he was near Batchelder Street at 8:30 pm when the teen struck him on the head with a cane, snagged his phone, and fled.
