The New York City Police Department is looking for a man they say may have endangered the public in Bedford-Stuyvesant on July 20.

According to a police spokesperson, on officers within the 79th Precinct heard reports of two individuals brandishing firearms and shooting them in broad daylight in front of a building at 281 Quincy St. near Marcy Avenue.  

After firing a few shots, the individuals fled the scene in an unknown direction. No injuries or property damage were reported as a result of the incident.

Officers are asking for the public’s help in finding the person involved with the unlawful shooting of a firearm.

Anyone with information related to the incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or on Twitter.
