94th Precinct

Greenpoint–Northside

Hairy situation

Cops collared one of a trio of slimeballs who allegedly grabbed a woman by the hair and forcefully took her phone out of her hand at Morgan and Driggs Avenues on the night of Aug. 30.

The victim told cops she was walking home from the subway at around 11:30 pm when three guys approached and asked if she had any money. When she said no, the suspects pulled her to the ground by her hair and grabbed her cellphone, fleeing down Driggs Avenue toward Kingsland Avenue and leaving the victim with minor scrapes on her knee, authorities say. Cops cuffed one of the threesome on Sept. 4.

Hit, grab, and run

A fiend put the finishing touches on a hit-and-run when he grabbed the phone out of the hands of the other driver, who was trying to call the cops, and fled the scene on Vandevort Avenue on Aug. 31.

The victim says he got into a car accident with the guy near Meeker Avenue at around 12:30 am, and when he went to call 911 the good-for-nothing grabbed the phone out of his hands and hoofed it down Vandevoort Avenue towards Anthony Street, stopping to remove the license plates from his car before continuing to flee, according to a police report.

Gunpoint mugging

A villain mugged a guy at gunpoint on Manhattan Avenue in the early morning hours of Sept. 6.

The victim told cops he was sitting on a bench near Conselyea Street at 4 am when the scoundrel came up and pulled a black firearm, demanding him to “Give me everything you have.”

The gun-toting baddie took the man’s iPhone, cash, and MetroCard before vanishing into the subway station at the corner of Metropolitan and Graham avenues and hopping on a Canarsie-bound L train, according to a police report.

Shoulder smack

A guy-and-girl duo took a woman’s purse on Kingsland Avenue late at night on Aug. 30.

The victim was near Driggs Avenue at around 11:40 pm when a man approached and punched her in the left shoulder and grabbed her white purse out of her hand. A woman who was with him then punched the victim’s right shoulder before the two fled on foot, according to authorities.
