A baddie drove off with a guy’s car parked in a garage on Fleet Place on May 28, police said.
The crook swiped the victim’s car keys from a counter inside the garage near Myrtle Avenue and hit the gas on the stolen car at about 9:45 pm, according to authorities.
What a tool!
Some jerk swiped a bag of tools from a Flushing Avenue construction site on May 29, police said.
The 24-year-old victim told cops he had placed his bag of tools on the seventh floor inside the building near Market Street at about 2:30 pm to grab his identification card, and when he came back a few minutes later, his bag was gone — with his tools inside, according to authorities.
A crook removed security cameras from a Clinton Avenue church on June 2, police said.
The good-for-nothing stole the cameras from the house of worship near Lafayette Avenue at about 2:30 pm, and tried to break into the church, police said.
Grab and go
A nogoodnik stole a woman’s wallet from her bag inside a DeKalb Avenue restaurant on June 3, police said.
The 36-year-old victim told cops she was sitting at the bar inside the eatery near Cumberland Street at about 3:30 pm when two other patrons told her the cur was rummaging through her bag hanging on a rack.
But when she checked her bag, the baddie had already taken out her wallet with her cash, driver’s license, MetroCard, debit card, and bracelet inside, according to authorities.
A malefactor stole a woman’s laptop inside an Emerson Place park on May 28, police said.
The 23-year-old victim told cops she was watching her brother play in the green space near Willoughby Avenue at about 6 pm when he got hurt and she went to help him, and left her bag with her laptop on the bench. But when she returned to the bench about an hour later, her MacBook Pro, along with her student identification card and passport inside her bag, were all gone, officials said.
