Clean getaway

A shoplifter nabbed an estimated $250 worth of soap from a Flatbush Avenue drug store on July 2.

An employee told police that the suspected waltzed into the store between Prospect and Park places at 2:20 pm, before nabbing 27 bars of soap and 24 bottles of body wash, and then slinking past the register without paying.

No arrests have been made in the case, which has been closed, cops said.

Take a bike

A thief rode off with a pricey bike after duping a salesman at a Third Avenue bike store on July 2.

The victim told police that he met with the crook at the shop between Park and Prospect places at noon, and agreed to let the man take the pricey bicycle for a test ride in exchange for leaving a deposit in the form of his identification card.

About 10 minutes had passed when the salesman discovered that the thief had actually given him an Amazon gift card, and neither he, nor the bike, have been seen since, according to police.

No arrests have been made in the case, which has been closed, cops said.

Kid cuffed

Police arrested a 15-year-old boy accused of shoplifting from a Flatbush Avenue clothing store on July 2.

An employee told police that he spotted the kid inside the store near Atlantic Avenue at 1:30 pm, when he grabbed about $56 worth of merchandise, before attempting to flee with his ill-gotten clothes.

Cops cuffed the teen later that day, charging him with petit larceny, according to police.
