He’s your man

On Friday night, more than a dozen musicians will pay tribute to singer and songwriter Leonard Cohen, who passed away last month. The often-covered artist — there are more than 300 recorded versions of “Hallelujah” — will be celebrated by Robin Aigner, Jerie Choi, Naomi Frank, Feral Foster, Gryphon Rue, and many others, and all proceeds will go to Make the Road Action, a group that supports Latin immigrants.

9 pm at Jalopy Theatre [315 Columbia St. between Hamilton Avenue and Woodhull Street in Red Hook, (718) 395–3214, www.jalopy.biz]. $10.
