A good Claus
Brooklyn art-rock band Landlady hosts a holiday spectacular tonight at the Bell House, bringing together a dozen bands to raise cash for kids’ music school We Make Noise. The annual fund raiser will feature short sets from the Westerlies, Lady Lamb the Beekeeper, Crooklyn Rockers, and Jeff Curtin and his Magic Theremin, among many others.

It’s a beloved holiday tradition! The Mark Morris Dance Company’s “The Hard Nut,” a suburban interpretation of classic ballet “The Nutcracker” leaps back onto the stage of the Brooklyn Academy of Music this week, with an army of scary rats, an all-gender storm of sugarplum fairies, and costumes that call back to the swinging 1970s.
