Shh! Local animation archivist Tommy Stathes has been sharing his vast collection of vintage cartoons around the city for years with his Cartoon Carnival screening series. For the next edition, Stathes heads to Standard Toykraft in Williamsburg, where he will dip into his trove of rare 16-millimeter silent animated cartoons from the 1900s, 1910s, and 1920s.

They’re guitar zeroes! Brooklyn’s finest fake guitarists will battle it out at Saint Vitus bar in the borough qualifier for a spot in the US Air Guitar Championships.
