The opening night of the Dick Zigun’s latest Coney Island-centric play “The Education of Al Capone, as if told by Jimmy Durante” — which tells the true story of 18-year-old Capone working at an Italian restaurant — will be followed by a discussion with the cast and a selection of fancy snacks! Devil’s night
Enjoy a night of pitch-black ballads from acoustic singer-songwriter Amigo the Devil, a leading figure in the “murder folk” genre, when he stops at heavy metal bar St. Vitus tonight. He will serenade the crowd with alternately bleak and clever tunes from his new album, including “Cocaine and Abel” and “I Hope Your Husband Dies.”

The illustrations in Dungeons & Dragons rule books have fired the imagination of gamers for decades, and the new tome “Art & Arcana” collects some of its most iconic images, from the 1974 pamphlet “Men & Magic” to last year’s “Volo’s Guide to Monsters.” Meet its three editors tonight and find out how they whittled it down to just 448 pages!
