Photo Friday
Pop down to Photoville for its final weekend in Dumbo! The photo festival features more than 80 exhibits in shipping containers, including images of cute kitties and harrowing shots from photojournalists. Tonight in the Photoville Beer Garden, photo service Getty Images will show off some of its best images from the past year. The fest continues through Sunday.

Day and Knights
Chill out on the steps of the Plaza at 300 Ashland, where you can catch a dozen performances as part of the Downtown Brooklyn Arts Festival. The Brooklyn Ballet will kick things off at 12:15 pm; local orchestra the Knights (pictured) will play at 2:45 pm, and it ends with a salsa dance party from Los Hacheros at 5 pm.

Antic dealer
Brooklyn’s biggest street festival is here! Atlantic Avenue will shut down today from Fourth Avenue to the waterfront (that’s the whole thing, people) for the Atlantic Antic! Look out for the Dumpling Eating Contest, belly dancers, marching bands, a “drone obstacle course,” country bands playing outside of Hank’s Saloon, and bars serving a special Atlantic Antic Ale from Sixpoint Brewing.

The TKTS booth may have abandoned Brooklyn, but we still have TodayTix, which sponsors tonight’s concert “Broadway Does Brooklyn.” This evening of stripped-down musical performances, which benefits the Dramatists Guild Foundation, is hosted by former “Hedwig and the Angry Inch” star Darren Criss (pictured), with Mark Ballas, currently starring in “Kinky Boots;” Ethan Slater from “Spongebob Squarepants,” and many more.
