Standing O salutes the Varsity Golf Team at Fontbonnne Hall Academy.
Captains Laura Piccard and Megan Liu, Meghan Anderson, Jacqueline Cox, and Faith Breslin came in fourth place in the Catholic High School Sports Association playoffs and celebrated with coach Bill Eisenhardt with their annual luncheon tradition at Annabelle’s Pastaria in Dyker Heights on June 1.
The team toasted to this year’s season with Nutella pizza — a follow up to the Nutella calzone the team gorged on following last year’s playoffs — and it was the final season with the Bay Ridge Catholic school for seniors Piccard and Liu.
Teammates Vivian D’Orazi and Anna Maria Petalas couldn’t make the luncheon this year, which left all the more food for the other golfers.
