Free health screenings and information will be offered free to the public at Beth Israel Medical Center’s Spring Health Fair, May 19 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the lobby of the Kings Highway Division, 3201 Kings Highway.
The event will include blood tests for glucose and cholesterol, blood pressure screening, and evaluation for balance, information about fall prevention, diet and nutrition, prostate health, and resources and support for caregivers. A limited supply of pedometers will be given free to participants.
Doctors and pharmacists will be on hand to answer questions about test results and medications. Referrals will be given on request.
All services are open to those 18 years and older on a first come, first served basis. No advance registration is necessary.
