IKEA Brooklyn will host a special breakfast fundraiser, December 19 & 20 to fight cancer. One hundred percent of the revenue from all breakfasts sold between 9:30-11 a.m. on those days will be donated to the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life of IKEA Red Hook, which will take place June 5, 2010 along the IKEA waterfront.
Relay For Life of IKEA Red Hook is the American Cancer Society’s signature activity, and offers everyone in the community an opportunity to participate in the fight against cancer.
IKEA Brooklyn will also be host, December 19 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., to performers from the internationally renowned Cirque du Soleil,who will entertain shoppers and diners alike with their unique, dramatic mix of circus arts and street entertainment.
