Bus-ted
A pair of punks stole a man’s iPhone as he awaited the bus on Eighth Avenue on Oct. 14, authorities allege.
The victim reported that he was standing between 68th and 69th streets at 7:55 am when the two thugs ran by and grabbed his bag. A struggle ensued as the victim pulled back, and one of the savages struck the man in the face.
Finally, the victim’s iPhone dropped out of the knapsack onto the ground, and one of the fiends seized it. The dastardly duo then scrammed toward Sunset Park.
Bedroom shenanigans
A ruffian raided a 69th Street apartment and stole a laptop on Oct. 16, according to cops.
The victim told police she left her pad between Eighth and Ninth avenues at 9 am — without completely closing the portal to her boudoir. When she returned two hours later, she found the door to her building jammed shut, and the emergency side entrance ajar.
Upstairs, she saw her private quarters ransacked, and her computer missing.
Disbarred
A burglar ripped the bars from the window of a 65th Street home and stole thousands of dollars in cash and electronics from inside on Oct. 18, police report.
The victim said he left his house between 10th and 11th avenues at 7 pm and came back three hours later to discover the anti-crime obstructors torn out, and his iPod, iPod Touch, and $2,300 in cash all gone.
Double team
Two armed villains held up a 14th Avenue bodega for $900 in cash on Oct. 20, police state.
The store owner said that the two masked marauders came into his store between 67th and 68th streets at 12:30 am — one of them holding a gun, the other a knife. The brutes ordered the shopkeep to lie on the floor, while they opened the register and swiped the dough. The pair then fled in an unknown direction.
