Lobby robbery
Three brutes frisked a man for his cash in a W. 25th Street elevator on April 14.
The man told police that he was waiting for the elevator in the lobby of his apartment building between Mermaid and Surf avenues at 10:30 am when he was shoved into the lift and pressed against the wall by three goons.
The trio rummaged through the man’s pockets and made off with a mere $20 and his cellphone before fleeing the scene, officials said.
Whack attack
Police arrested a man for whacking a guy in the head with a stick multiple times on Mermaid and Stillwell avenues on April 10.
The victim was crossing the intersection at 9 pm when the stranger suddenly ambushed him, said police.
Emergency responders took the battered victim to Lutheran Medical Center for treatment, authorities reported.
Boardwalk beating
Police arrested a man who struck another man in the head with a metal pipe on the Boardwalk at W. 12th Street.
The victim told police that he was strolling along the walkway around 10 pm when he was suddenly smacked in the forehead with a pipe, authorities said. Police on the scene arrested the man, officials said.
Home invaders
Thieves made off with a woman’s flat-screen television from her Neptune Avenue apartment on April 14.
A witness told police he saw baddies bust into the apartment between W. 33rd and W. 37th streets. But the raiders fled with a 35-inch flat-screen television before police could arrive, officials said.
