Cops are still looking for the crook who held up a Gravesend Dunkin’ Donuts at gunpoint earlier this month.
The victim — an employee at the chain coffee shop — told police that at around 4:25 p.m. on Jan. 16, the thief took a firearm out of his fanny pack, pointed it at the worker and demanded the register.
The would-be robber fled the Dunkin Donuts, located at Kings Highway and West Third Street, empty-handed, headed west on Kings Highway.
Reports of robbery are slightly up in the 62nd Precinct, where the incident occurred, according to Police Department data. As of Jan. 21, when the most recent data is available, there were eight reported robberies so far this year — up one from the seven reported during the same time last year.
Other crimes, such as felony assault and grand larceny, are also slightly up, while reports of grand larceny auto have almost tripled, according to the data. Meanwhile, reports of rape and burglary are down, and the murder rate remains steady at 0.
