High marks for Tranquility room’s healing garden

Assemblymembers Peter Abbate and Steven Cymbrowitz were hailed for their efforts to help expand local patient care in Brooklyn with a dedication ceremony at Maimonides Cancer Center.

Abbate was honored for his support of the new Tranquility Room, and Cymbrowitz for his aid in helping bring about the new Healing Garden, at the oncology institute, 6300 8th Avenue.

The garden was designed by staff of the Brooklyn Botanic Garden.
