Carroll caper

A temerarious teen stole a woman’s wallet right out of her hands at the Carroll Street subway station on Aug. 20.

The 28-year-old victim was reaching for her Metrocard inside her wallet at around 10:30 am when the young thief snatched it from her unsuspecting hands.

But he didn’t get far. About 10 minutes after the crime, Officers Besemah Rogers and Alexis Murray-Medouze arrested a 15-year-old who fit the description provided by the victim.

F’ed up

A cretin snatched a woman’s iPhone while she waited for a Manhattan-bound F train at the Bergen Street station on Aug. 26.

The victim told cops that she was at the station at around 6:50 pm when the perp ran in front of her, grabbed the phone, and fled.

Apple eyed

Three men pummeled a man for his Apple iPhone, and roughed up his companion for her purse and iPhone on Henry Street on Aug. 21.

The victims told cops they were on their way home when three men approached them at 12:10 am at Henry and Coles streets. The brutal trio punched and kicked one victim, a 30-year-old man, knocking him down and stealing his phone. One of the males then pushed the second victim, a 27-year-old woman, snatching her purse and phone.

The threesome then fled in the direction of Red Hook. Along with the status-symbol phones, the trio also made off with $90 and an assortment of credit cards.

Coffey buzz

A man was struck in the face near Coffey Park for no apparent reason on Aug. 23.

Cops said the victim was near Verona and Dwight streets at around 7 pm when he was approached by a group of young men. One broke from the pack and repeatedly hit the victim, a 44-year-old man, in the face. The group then fled eastbound toward the Red Hook Houses.

No property was taken, and the victim refused medical attention.

Berry burst

Four men sneaked up behind a man walking on Henry Street and stole his cellphone on Aug. 23.

The victim was near Bay Street at 6 pm when he noticed four men creeping up behind him. One of the men suddenly snatched the man’s Blackberry phone that was attached to his belt. The other three men struck the victim in the head.

Shop popped

Someone broke into a Coffey Street auto body and towing shop and stole a computer over the Aug. 21 weekend.

Cops said the thief used a pole or some other crude device to open the garage gate located between Richards and Dwight streets, between 5 pm on Aug. 21 and 7 am on Aug. 23. Once inside, the crook snatched a desktop computer worth $875.

Slap grab

A man was slapped and scratched after an argument on Baltic Street on Aug. 24 — but the villain was collared.

Cops said an 18-year-old man was arguing with a 17-year-old woman between Hoyt and Bond streets at around 6 pm. The woman suddenly got violent, causing bruising and swelling on the man’s face. The teen slapper was arrested by Officer Jenny Aguiera.

Cored for phone

A teen stole a woman’s Apple iPhone as she stood unsuspecting at the corner of Van Brunt and Pioneer streets on Aug. 18.

The 28-year-old victim said the thief smacked her hand, causing her to lose her grip on the highly coveted device.

Cops said the thief is 15, yet 6-foot-1 and 170 pounds. A big boy.

Close call

Someone removed the door cylinder at a Court Street restaurant, but thought better of burgling the joint overnight on Aug. 19.

Cops said the portion of the door where the lock is positioned was removed between midnight and 11 am at Casa Rosa Restaurant, which is between Carroll and President streets, but something must have scared off the intruders.

Key party

Here’s a timeless piece of advice: don’t leave your keys in the mailbox.

A Tompkins Place man learned that lesson after a thief grabbed his keys out of the mailbox to enter his building, near Kane Street, and helped himself to a $600 Bianchi bicycle.
