IT’S ONLY MY OPINION: ‘Quit Hillary Quit,’ and a whole lot more

As I go about my day I frequently have a thought or hear a line that I may be able to use in one of my weekly efforts. I might hear it on the radio, in the gym or at the barbershop. Rather than take the chance of trusting that idea to my memory I write it down. Sometimes I have a small pad in my pocket. I said sometimes. Most of the time I scribble the words on an envelope, a paper napkin, a scrap of paper or on the back of a business card. At the end of the day when I empty my pockets onto the edge of my nightstand I toss those bits and pieces of ideas into the top draw next to my handkerchiefs. These past few months the majority of those thoughts dealt with the woes of the Democrats and the possible nominations. This morning I emptied the draw on to the top of my desk and before I toss them out I thought I’d share them with you. Here they are, word for word, exactly the way I jotted them down. Any one of these snippets can be used for a segment in my column or to stimulate conversation when it slows to a boring crawl at your next cocktail party.
