Remembering a great leader…
Upon hearing the sad news of his death, famed Canarsie autograph collector Lou Schlamowitz remembered Ted Kennedy by foraging in his extensive archive and finding this photo.
Schlamowitz noted the small missive on the bottom of the photo, written in Kennedy’s own hand, where the U.S. Senator from Massachusetts extended “all good wishes” to both Schlamowitz and his late wife, Dora.
Kennedy lost his battle with brain cancer last Tuesday at 77.
