Kick it (and spin it) old school, Polish-style

The Brooklyn Record Riot storms into town with a kielbasa and pierogi-fest(think a “giant 12 step meeting with records, beer, DJs and polish food”), February 28 at The Warsaw, featuring a number of new dealers, along with old stalwarts and local heroes.

Everything in The Warsaw’s new Dollar Room is $1 or less, including records and CDs, full-length albums and 12” singles. Phast Phreddie leads a stellar group of DJs, including Ira Kaplan (Yo La Tengo) and Lenny Kaye (Nuggets compiler/Patti Smith cohort).

Records of all genres and price-range will be offered. Hours are from 12-8 p.m. and admission is $3 ($20 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.). The Warsaw is located at 261 Driggs Avenue in Greenpoint.
