Boxer-brief bandit
Cops arrested a man for allegedly for trying to steal boxer briefs and locks from a Smith Street pharmacy on Aug. 8.
Police claim that the man attempted to smuggle the stolen goods out of the drug store between Warren and Baltic streets at 6 a.m., but the store’s manager stopped him and recovered the underwear.
Pedaling crime
A perp stole a man’s bike from the rear courtyard of his house on Columbia Street sometime after July 23.
The victim told police he discovered his $930 mountain bike was stolen from his duplex between Sacket and Union streets on Aug. 6 at 10 a.m.
Cold-blooded
A thief swiped eight pints of delicious Häagen Dazs ice cream from a Court Street deli on Aug. 5.
The employee told police that the fiend nabbed $52.32 worth of frozen confections from the sandwich shop between Amity and Bergen streets sometime between 11:19 p.m. and midnight.
Pants perp
A man nabbed a $370 pair of jeans from a luxury store on Atlantic Avenue on Aug. 6.
An employee told police that the thief fled the store between Clinton and Court streets with the ritzy slacks at 3:15 p.m., before hightailing it with his ill-gotten pants.
