Man found dead in U-Haul truck in East New York: NYPD

Police are investigating the death of a man in his 30s after his body was found in a U-Haul truck in East New York on Monday morning. 

Cops were called out to 228 Holly St., just off Linden Boulevard, at around 8:50 a.m. on Nov. 27 and found an “unidentified, unconscious and unresponsive” man inside of the truck, according to the NYPD.

The man, believed to be in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders.

A spokesperson for the NYPD said there were no visible signs of trauma to the deceased. The Medical Examiner is set to determine the exact cause of death. The spox added that the investigation is ongoing, and there have been no arrests made as of Monday afternoon. 

Police have not yet released the name of the victim, pending family notification.
