A gunman struck a man in the head in a daylight shooting in Homecrest on June 23.

The pistol-packing perp stalked up to the driver side of a white Hyundai sedan with his weapon drawn on Avenue T near E. 19th Street just after noon, according to police.

Surveillance footage appears to show the gunman attempting to enter the victim’s vehicle, but the driver quickly peels off and the shooter opens fire.

The would-be killer struck the victim on the left side of his head, but the driver made his way to Coney Island Hospital, and his condition is now stable, cops said.

Police describe the suspect as a 25-year-old man who stands around 6 feet tall and has a medium build.

Anyone who provides police with information leading to an arrest can expect up to a $2,500 reward through the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers program.
