Police are asking the public to help them identify a man who allegedly struck a 19-year-old man on the head with a baseball bat following a Nov. 11 dispute on 15th Street in Coney Island.
The suspect allegedly struck the other man at about 4 am after an argument they were having between Neptune and Mermaid avenues. The victim suffered lacerations to his head and went to Lutheran Medical Center in serious but stable condition. The perp fled the scene in an unknown direction.
The man is in his 30s, according to police, and was last seen wearing a dark colored jacket, a white shirt, and dark colored pants.
