Mighty ‘Kong’

he Ryan Repertory Company presents “Kong – A New Performance Work,” written and directed by Pamela Sneed and co-directed by Barbara Parisi.

King is one woman’s adventurous and scathing indictment of politics and cinema. Both satire and protest, Pamela Sneed uses the recent remake of the film “King Kong” to explore the complexities of activism in 2008.

Performances are June 12-29, with performances Thursday-Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. at the Ryan Repertory Company’s Jonathan Rosenblum Performing Arts Space in the Harry Warren Theatre in Bath Beach, Brooklyn, 2445 Bath Avenue, corner of Bay 38th Street.
