A crook barged his way into an an elderly woman’s E. 13th Street home on Nov. 1, threatened her with a knife and swiped her purse and cash, police said.
The 81-year-old woman told police she was in her home near Avenue T at about 11:30 pm when the jerk rang her doorbell. When she asked who it was, the malefactor answered, “It’s me!”
The woman opened the door and the punk pushed her into her kitchen and said,“Where’s the money?” while threatening her with a knife. The nogoodnik grabbed her purse with $300 cash in it and fled through her side door, officials said.
High pressure
Cops cuffed a 23-year-old guy for trying to swipe a handful of blood pressure monitors from a store on Coney Island Avenue on Oct. 30.
The suspect took five different Omron series monitors from the store near Avenue W at around 2 pm, police said. A store employee confronted the suspect — who police say is a known shoplifter — but he struck him with his elbow and tried to flee, according to authorities.
The monitors were recovered in the store, police said.
Scared awake
A criminal threatened a woman with a box cutter and stole her cellphone and wallet on the subway near Gravesend Neck Road on Oct. 29, police said.
The 23-year-old woman told police she had fallen asleep on the Brighton Beach-bound Q train at about 1:15 am when the crook — wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black sports jacket, and blue jeans with construction boots — grabbed her phone and hand, trying to force her to unlock her own iPhone 6S with her fingerprint.
The two started yelling and shoving each other when the cur took out a metal box cutter and told her to give him her wallet, police said. He said, “Be a smart b—-, give me your wallet,” according to authorities.
He ran off the train near E. 15th Street with her phone and wallet, which contained $80 and debit and credit cards, according to authorities.
In hot water
Some jerk swiped a guy’s water meter from his Homecrest Avenue home sometime between March 1 and Oct. 27, police said.
The 43-year-old man told police the unknown punk entered his home near Avenue T and removed the meter. There was no forced entry, officials said.
Jewel thief
A cur broke into a woman’s house and on E. Ninth Street on Oct. 31 and stole her watch and necklace.
The woman told police the jerk entered through her side door near Avenue V at about 5:13 am and swiped her watch and 14-karat gold necklace.
Risky business
Some punk broke into a guy’s Kings Highway business overnight on Nov. 3 and stole a wad of cash from the register, police said.
The business owner told police he closed up and left the store near E. 10th Street at 9 pm and when he returned at 4 am, noticed the backdoor was open and the door handle was broken. The crook stole $1,200 from the cash register, according to authorities.
