Apple picking

Some jerk yanked an iPhone from a man on Lafayette Avenue on Nov. 21.

The 28-year-old victim told police that he was near Cumberland Street at 8:05 am when the thief came up from behind and grabbed his mobile. The man struggled to retrieve his phone but the perp fled.

Market panic

A masked man stole $100 from an office safe at a Fulton Street supermarket on Nov. 22.

An employee of Met Foods said that he was sleeping at the grocery between St. James and Cambridge places at 4:40 am when a masked burglar rustling through safes woke him up.

The thief exited through the roof.

Tech dirt

A burglar scored big time after breaking into a Carlton Avenue apartment on Nov. 22 — escaping with an iMac, Sony TV and Bose speakers.

The 29-year-old victim told police that he last saw his tech toys at 9 pm. The next afternoon, he realized his stuff — including a Sony PSP3 and cable box — was gone.

2-wheeled justice

Cops say they arrested twin thieves on Nov. 23 after they stole an expensive bike from a Flatbush Avenue storage space.

A witness told cops that he saw the perps clip locks off a storage area between Fulton Street and Lafayette Avenue at 4:31 pm and take a $3,500 Bianchi.

Hours later, one of the alleged crooks returned to the scene and police cuffed him after they found the two-wheeler in his locker. They arrested his alleged accomplice later that evening.

Special delivery

A sneaky thief stole $570 and checks from a delivery truck on Fulton Street on Nov. 23.

The 44-year-old driver told cops that he parked at Clinton Avenue at 4:39 pm to make a delivery. When he returned minutes later, the money was gone.

Mazda madness

A thief stole a Mazda sedan from Fulton Street between Nov. 22 and Nov. 24.

The victim told police that she parked near S. Oxford Street at 2:30 am and returned two days later to find her green Protege gone.

Choke attack

A marauder put a man in a chokehold to steal his cellphone and iPod on Greene Avenue on Nov. 26.

The 21-year-old victim told cops that he was near Washington Avenue at 4:15 am when the crook approached from behind and said, “Don’t say anything!”

He choked the victim, grabbed his Verizon Incredible phone and fled.

Wheel and steal

Some thief stole four tires from an Infiniti sedan on Clermont Avenue on Nov. 25.

The 39-year-old victim told cops that he parked between Lafayette and Greene avenues at 7 pm. When he returned the next morning, all four rims and tires — valued at $2,150 — were gone.

Department score

A heartless crook stole a woman’s merchandise and purse from Target in the crime-riddled Atlantic Terminal Mall on Nov. 25.

The 32-year-old victim told cops that she left her cart unattended inside the Atlantic Avenue store at 6:55 pm. When she returned minutes later, the cart — which contained the items she just purchased, an iPod and $300 — was gone.
