Someone stole $2 from a man on Hicks Street on Feb. 5.
The 65-year-old victim said he was near Baltic Street at noon when the thug punched him in the face and snatched the cash.

A contractor stole another man’s camera after he was videotaping him without permission on Degraw Street on Feb. 1.
The 47-year-old victim said he was near Smith Street when the man became angry at the sight of the camera, snatching it. Officer Veronica Francis later arrested the 47-year-old camera-shy jerk.
Columbia caper
Someone burglarized a van on Columbia Street sometime between Feb. 3 and Feb. 4.
The 26-year-old victim said he parked near Sackett Street at 9 pm, and when he returned at noon the next day, the white Ford’s passenger side window was shattered, and a global positioning device worth $250 was missing, along with a specialty seat cushion for senior citizens.
