Mothers Against Drunk Driving delivered a tall salute to Brooklyn’s Finest by feting them with a tribute at Bay Ridge Manor to mark Crime Victims Rights Week.
Cops from Brooklyn’s 70th, 75th and 62nd precincts – and the 46th Precinct in the Bronx – were honored by the group’s Brooklyn chapter at the Bay Ridge catering hall, 476 76th Street, for “dedicating their lives to serving and protecting the public” and manning Drunk While Intoxicated (DWI) checkpoints on “cold days and long nights.”
The 46th Precinct was hailed for recording the highest number of DWI arrests across the city in the past three years.
Other honorees included law enforcers from the Brooklyn South and North task forces; and Gayle Damf-Littman, assistant district attorney for Kings County,
