Stabbed on Surf

Cops say two thugs stabbed a Coney Island resident on Surf Avenue during a bloody Jan. 1 attack that left their victim with wounds to both legs, deep cuts to his face and bruises to his body.

The victim was near W. 12th Street at 5:25 am when the suspects attacked. Witnesses called police, who arrested the duo without incident.

Held for holdup

Cops arrested a man who they say was connected with a Dec. 17 holdup on Bay View Avenue.

Police said that two thugs approached a young man near Neptune Avenue at 6:30 pm, flashed a firearm and forced him to hand over his cash and jewelry.

The victim said the duo ran off with the loot, but cops caught up with one this week, charging him with robbery.

Wigging out

A man allegedly tried to kick his way into a home on Harway Avenue on Dec. 30 — but was arrested.

Witnesses said that residents of the home between Bay 44th Street and 27th Avenue kicked the man out of the home at 8:30 pm, but the suspect wanted to come back in. Cops found him kicking the door — with meat cleavers in his hands — demanding to come back in.

Passed out

Police say a 33-year-old woman was found passed out behind the wheel of a 2012 Volkswagen on W. 22nd Street on Dec. 29.

Cops approached the car, which was near Surf Avenue, at 1:46 am. The woman was asleep behind the wheel — the keys still in the ignition. A half-full bottle of alcohol was sitting on the seat next to her.
