The video vandal
A 20-year-old man was arrested for breaking into a Farragut Road apartment on May 24 — and destroying the tenant’s surveillance system.
The victim told police that he was inside his abode between 105th and 108th streets at 2:15 pm when the suspect kicked down his front door and proceeded to rip the victim’s surveillance system from its mount in the wall.
Before leaving, the suspect threatened the victim, saying his friends would be calling soon to kill the man, according to court documents.
Laying bricks
Cops arrested a 25-year-old man who they say hurled a brick at man’s Toyota Camry and threatened the man with a machete on Avenue N on June 10.
The victim told police that he was between E. 86th and E. 87th streets at 2 pm when the suspect threw the brick at his car, shattering his windshield, and then showed off his brush-clearing tool in a threatening manner.
