OMNI Ensemble presents dynamic half acoustic/half electronic program

The OMNI Ensemble will continue its 27th season of concerts at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, February 26 at 8 p.m.

The program features David Wechsler, flutes/midi wind controller; Brian Snow, cello; James Johnston piano/synthesizer and guest artist David Forman, digital percussion. The concert will be acoustic for first half of the program featuring music for flute, cello and piano, with works by Peter Schickele (Summer Trio), Jean Francaix (Trio) and David Keberle (Poison or Grapes).

The second half of the program will be electronic improvisations by The OMNI Ensemble, featuring electric flutes/midi wind controller, electric cello, piano/synthesizer, and digital percussion.
