One man was killed and three others were wounded in a wild shooting near Kings Highway on March 3.
Police received a 911 call of an assault around 6:07 pm near Kings Highway and E. 53rd Street, and found a man shot dead upon arrival.
“A male was found unconscious and unresponsive with gunshot wounds to his thigh and torso,” said a police spokeswoman. “He was pronounced dead on arrival by EMS.”
Police then found three other men with gunshot wounds nearby — one on E. 53rd Street near Avenue I, one on Kings Highway all the way down near E. 2nd Street, and another near Kings Highway and Foster Avenue. All three men went to Kings County Hospital for treatment, and their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
“All are expected to survive,” said the spokeswoman.
Police are questioning an uninjured man they located near the shooting, but no arrests have been made, according to the spokeswoman.
“It’s still under investigation,” she said.
