Plumb 2nd Street revels in block party fun

Festive frolickers soaked in equal parts of sunshine and community spirit during a block party along Plumb 2nd Street.

The neighborhood bustled with fun-filled frolics as mom, dad and the kids rose to the outdoor extravaganza between Avenue W ands Whitney Avenue.

While older merrymakers worked on their suntans and cooked up grilled goodies on the barbie, the pint-sized crowd enjoyed games, sports tourneys and more along the traffic free stretch.
